Recently we received an email saying, “I am very happy that a friend of mine told me about your website. I am reading a lot, and it feels like a puzzle that becomes clear.”
Studying prophecy IS a lot like building a puzzle. All the pieces are in the box. They all fit together. You do not need to force the pieces into place. When you find two pieces that go together, you know it. You work at one section at a time—often losing sight of the bigger picture. Some may look at the box to catch a glimpse of the bigger picture, while others think that’s cheating. Personally, I’m one that looks every once in a while to make sure I’m on the right track.
As we study and share what we are learning about biblical prophecy on this site, we admit that we have not put the whole puzzle together. We are working at understanding what our Father has revealed to us through His precious Word. Many of the things in there have been hidden for years—like the pieces were spilled out on the table, but not all the pieces were turned over for us to see them. In these days, YHWH is giving greater and quicker insight as we diligently search out what has been in the Scriptures from the beginning.
Studying prophecy is so simple that a child can understand it, which is why many of our articles and studies are written by our children. When a piece of the puzzle comes together for one of our children, we encourage them to write about it. It’s fun to work together as we study the Scriptures and see pieces of the puzzle of prophecy come together.
In this post, I would like to share some insights from Revelation 12, as well as some special insights from Revelation 9, which came together during one of our family Bible study times. These are just two sections of the puzzle; they are two important sections that help to make the whole picture a little clearer.
Revelation chapter 12 is a key chapter that motivated our family to move to Jordan. From this chapter we learn a lot about the End Times and the place of protection for YHWH’s people during the Tribulation. The chapter starts with a great sign seen in the heavens.
Revelation 12:1-2 And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. And being pregnant, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth.
Before sharing about this verse a bit, I would like to share two things about our oldest son. First, he and I are puzzle buddies. We both like to do puzzles. It’s one of those mother-son things that have been a blessing to both of us. The time together is just as rewarding as putting in the last piece, an honor my son has most traditionally reserved for me.
Second, our son is a student of the stars. He has written about the stars on our blog and is the author of a book available on our site about the Hebrew Zodiac. He reads the heavenly lights in the same way many of us study the Bible. He looks to the ancient Hebrew names YHWH gave to the constellations and stars and finds many interesting insights that bring greater meaning to what is revealed in the Scriptures.
I believe looking at the stars and constellations are like finding the pieces of the puzzle that fell on the floor. You think they are on the table, and you are searching for them, but lo and behold, you take one look on the ground and find that piece for which you have been searching. In this post, I am going to share some of our son’s insights as he had studied the Scriptures in the heavens.
In Revelation 12, the apostle John saw a sign in the heavens. Many prophetic people have speculated about this sign. There have been YouTube videos published claiming certain alignments in the sky fulfilling this vision that John saw. As we have studied this passage and the stars, I have come to believe that what John saw has been in the heavens since Day 4 of Creation, and it will not pass away. I think that John was looking at the Hebrew Zodiac.
I am not going to get into too much detail about the Hebrew Zodiac, you’ll have to order our book for that. However, the beginning of the Zodiac cycle is a constellation many are familiar with, The Virgin. Those who have published videos about the alignments of this constellation with other planets usually start with The Virgin. However, what they get wrong is that we are waiting for some moment of alignment. The Virgin is one of 12 constellations that make up the Hebrew Zodiac, each constellation is connected with a tribe of Israel. The ‘crown of twelve stars’ we see in John’s vision, is the crown and circling of the 12 constellations that represent the 12 tribes of Israel. It takes a yearly cycle to see all 12 constellations, but they are always present in the heavens.
The woman in John’s vision is about to give birth. The woman cries out in labor and in pain and gives birth to a male child. We have received questions about who this male child is, so I wanted to take a moment to address that question here. The male child is Yahushua. He is represented as the One coming forth from the Virgin at both His First and Second Coming. Yahushua came the first time and was born of a virgin, Mary. After His death, He ascended into the Heavens and is seated at the right hand of YHWH. However, this vision that John saw was not fully realized by Yahushua’s first coming because in verse 5 we read that the male child is to ‘rule the nations with a rod of iron.’ At Yahushua’s first coming He did not rule the nations, He laid down His life for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. At His Second Coming, He will rule the nations with a rod of iron.
Revelation 12:5 And she bore a male child who was to shepherd all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught away to Elohim and to His throne.
The woman in this passage is the Bride of Messiah, who brings forth the coming of Messiah. I believe this woman births Messiah by preparing for His Coming. We have written a lot on our site about preparing for Yahushua’s coming. One of the biggest messages we have shared is that YHWH will be gathering His people in Jordan before the Second Coming of Yahushua. His Bride will be in Jordan and will birth Messiah by following Him to this place before His Second Coming.
John goes on to say that after the Child is birthed, He is taken to YHWH and to His Throne. Then John tells us that the Woman flees to the wilderness where she has a place prepared for her.
Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Elohim, to be nourished there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
Revelation 12:14 And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
John mentions that the Woman is in the place prepared for her two times in this passage. The first time he mentions it, it is almost as if he is getting ahead of himself. I can relate, when I start to talk about prophecy, there is so much to say. I often find myself going too far in one direction and need to back up and explain something important to understanding some other concept. I think much of the book of Revelation is the same way. We see John explaining his vision, but he often backs up to explain more. It’s important to find the pieces within the book of Revelation that fit with one another and also find the pieces in the rest of the Bible that fit in with this book to tell the whole story.
So, the way I see it, John goes from verse 6 to realizing He has more to explain before he gets to the part about the Woman in the wilderness.
So, here are some of the pieces that I have put together related to these verses. First, the Woman births Messiah. From my studies, I believe the Woman births Messiah by gathering together in Jordan. Second, after the Child is birthed, the Woman will head into the Wilderness that is referred to by John. There’s a bit of a journey ahead of us, as we follow Yahushua in His plan for Salvation. Am I getting ahead of myself? Let’s go back to John’s vision.
John speaks about a war in heaven in verses 7-9.
Revelation 12:7-9 And there came to be fighting in the heaven: Miḵa’ěl and his messengers fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought, but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in the heaven any longer. And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
Okay, so this war is before the Woman gets into the safety of the Wilderness. The war is between Michael the Archangel and angels and Satan and his demons. This is a war in the heavens, which we humans will not see. I believe this war may be taking place right now or may have already taken place. There is good news in this war in that the Dragon and his demons are not able to overcome Michael and his angels. In this war, the good guys win, and it means salvation for those of us who are marked by YHWH on Earth!
When Satan loses this war, he is thrown down to the Earth. He will no longer be allowed in the heavenly realms. I believe when he is thrown down, the Tribulation will have begun. He will wreak havoc on the entire Earth.
So, to summarize a few points… Yahushua is birthed, taken up to Heaven, to His Throne; Satan is thrown down from the heavens to work his destruction on the Earth. This is actually great news for those of us on Earth ready and waiting for our salvation! When Satan is thrown from Heaven to the Earth, Revelation 12:10 will be at hand.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.”
We, who are on the Earth when Satan is cast down to the Earth, are to find comfort in that our deliverance has come, and the power and the reign of Yahushua has come. We will be given the authority of our Messiah at this time to overcome the works of Satan, and here’s how we do it:
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.
We overcome Satan and His works because we have faith in Yahushua and His Blood for the forgiveness of our sins, because of the Word of our testimony, we are not afraid to follow Him where He leads, and because we are not afraid to die. That’s right, people, all kinds of people are going to die—those who love Yahushua and those who don’t. Many people will die during this time, and yes we have entered a time of increased death and bloodshed on Earth. It only gets worse until Yahushua returns.
Revelation 12:12 Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.”
Are some of the pieces coming together?
We are going to hop over to Revelation 9 for another piece of this puzzle, and for this piece we are going get some insight from our son’s star studies.
Revelation 9:1-2 And the fifth messenger sounded, and I saw a star from the heaven which had fallen to the earth. And the key to the pit of the deep was given to him. And he opened the pit of the deep, and smoke went up out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun was darkened, also the air, because of the smoke of the pit.
Okay, I think this star that fell from heaven to the Earth is Satan, just as his falling is described in Revelation 12. Who else would open the pit of the deep? Now let’s take a look at something Satan does on the Earth during the Tribulation.
Revelation 9:3-11 And out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth possess authority. And it was said to them that they shall not harm the grass of the earth, or any green matter, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of Elohim upon their foreheads. And it was given to them that they should not kill them, but to torture them for five months. And their torture was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a man. And in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it. And they shall long to die, but death shall flee from them. And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. And they had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle. And they have tails like scorpions, and stings. And in their tails is their authority to harm men five months. And they have over them a sovereign, the messenger of the pit of the deep, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apolluon.
Perhaps a second read of this passage will help those seeking more understanding at this point?
The thing that stood out to our family in this passage is the reference to the Scorpion. The Scorpion is a constellation in the Hebrew Zodiac. Below is a picture made by our son of the constellation.
In the book Written in the Heavens: Events on Earth Revealed in the Stars, he writes:
The Scorpion constellation represents a form of the devil. The star in the stinger area of the Scorpion has the Hebrew name L’shoot. The word L’shoot translates to turn aside to idolatry, to go to and fro, to detrude, to whip, to lash and to scourge. In Scripture, L’shoot embodies Satan’s activities. The Scorpion is seen in the sky on the Ecliptic—Earth level. The Scorpion roams ‘to and fro’ on the Earth. One characteristic of the Devil is ‘turning to and fro.’ A verse in Job describes a way Satan occupies himself. The verse contains the Hebrew word Shoot.
Job 1:7 And יהוה said to Satan, “From where do you come?” And Satan answered יהוה and said, “From diligently searching (Shoot) in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”
We know that Satan roams the Earth. He also is the one who performs malicious (L’shoot) acts. He has been sinning from the beginning and tempts people to sin.
1 John 3:8 The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.
The Scorpion is so significant that YHWH devoted one very visible constellation to the awareness of it! When we see Scorpion in the Scriptures, we take note of it. It is telling us something about the work of Satan, and it’s something we need to know.
Written in the Heavens continues:
Scorpions are predators with a nasty reputation. Let’s consider the nature of how scorpions hunt their prey. The method varies among species, but the general approach is the same. They first use their pinchers to grab and crush their prey. Scorpions then use their stinger to inject venom into the victim’s body, although sometimes scorpions easily kill without stinging. The venom is a neurotoxin which damages the nervous system. By this, the victim is paralyzed and gives no struggle as the scorpion enjoys its meal. This seems to be a cruel trap.
When we considered the insights about the Scorpion, we wonder if this sting of the Scorpion could be the possible Covid-19 ‘vaccine’ or the worldwide injection agenda.
We know there are many concerns about the Covid vaccine. In the mainstream media, there are reports of trial vaccines attacking and damaging the nervous system. Could it be that Satan will go after humanity with this vaccine? Could it be that people will not die from the vaccine right away (otherwise, who would take it?), but that people will die a slow painful death from the injection? Is it possible Satan is releasing an army of workers to create and distribute this vaccine to as many as possible? Is this a fulfillment of prophecy?
There are many doctors blowing the whistle on this vaccine and its purposes. We hear reports of population reduction, tracking devices, genetic manipulation, and mood and behavior modifiers—just to name a few of the atrocities associated with this vaccine. It’s all very scary stuff. All these possibilities should make us want to avoid the vaccine at all costs.
There will be a lot of pressure on people to take this vaccine. From the onset, I have considered it one of those things that I would rather die than be injected with the venom that is being reported about the vaccine.
If Revelation 9 is a description of the COVID-19 vaccine about to be forced upon the inhabitants of the world, there is a bit of hope in Revelation 9:4.
Revelation 9:4 And it was said to them that they shall not harm the grass of the earth, or any green matter, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of Elohim upon their foreheads.
It’s certainly good to be sealed for YHWH in this situation. What is described in Revelation 9 is only for those who are not sealed. If Revelation 9 is talking about the vaccine, then many may be faced with the choice to die rather than receive the vaccine.
Revelation 12: 11 And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Please understand, I am not saying that Revelation 9 is definitely talking about the Covid vaccine, but that it may be talking about it. I am merely sharing some insights from my studies. Each person needs to seek the Scriptures and seek YHWH for understanding and what they need to do about this perspective.
Another piece of this puzzle is found in Luke 10 and offers more hope and encouragement as we look forward to YHWH fulfilling His Word.
Luke 10:18-20 And He said to them, “I saw Satan falling out of the heaven as lightning. “See, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and none at all shall hurt you. “But do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names have been written in the heavens.”
