The Beginning of the End

Can you see it coming out of the water?
Seven heads, ten horns—meant to slaughter
Watch the times; trust no friend
This is the beginning of the end

The Beast, it’s rising to sovereignty
Dragging the world into poverty
Hungry for power, for control, for lands
They want to steal what’s in Yah’s hands

Polluting the sky, the ground, and seas
Gaining treasures with endless victories
Killing the fish and animals of every kind
And delighting to capture a human mind

Elders are cast aside; children are a prey
Follow the agenda, and what a price you’ll pay
They want to take away sound reason and decision
To create a one-world government and one religion

Crops are destroyed; famine is coming
Blood is shed in ceaseless bombing
Diseases spread; truth is banned
The evils have all been planned

A destroyer will soon come in disguise
Allegiance of nations will be his prize
Traitors will worship and receive his seal
Like Esau sold his birthright for a single meal

So what should be done at this time of corruption?
The wise will prepare for the world’s destruction
But those who sit and wait for a rapture
Are bound to meet the face of disaster

In this present age, many things can be a distraction
But to be saved, it’s necessary to take action
As in the days of Noah, it’s a time that’s dark
Be ready at the door to get on the ark

The chosen will gather and hide
While Yah punishes all pride
Those who return will be blind and lame
Though needy, they will escape the flame

When winds are let loose and thunder’s unrestrained
There will be no value in what the rulers have gained
The heavens will be opened and sinners taken
But the meek and righteous will not be forsaken

Inspired by the Book of Proverbs, I wrote this poem this past winter.  In his wisdom, Solomon taught about what to do at a time of evil or calamity.  This wisdom applies to us in our day.

Proverbs 22:3 A clever (or prudent) one foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple go on and are punished.

Proverbs 27:12 A clever man foresees calamity, hides himself; the simple shall go on, they are punished.

The first part of this admonishment is to foresee evil.  A wise person will be aware of current events and how they relate to prophecy in Scripture.

In Revelation 13, John saw a vision of a beast coming out of the sea.  The beast received authority from a dragon (Satan) over all nations of the Earth.  It brought the world into captivity and killed many people.  Then another beast arose (the anti-messiah) and led the world astray in false worship.  Under his sovereignty, no one could buy or sell except through the mark of the beast.  I believe we are living in the days when this beast is rising to authority over the Earth.

The Scriptures tell us what to do when we see the beginning of the end!  The second part of Solomon’s admonishment is to hide from evil or calamity.  Hiding requires action.  It means preparing so as not to be caught off guard.  Like Noah, it means to physically go to a safe place.  The evil and calamity of our day is the rise of the Beast System/ New World Order.  Satan’s agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy everything precious to YHWH.  Wisdom foresees evil and hides from it.

Below is a quote from our new book The Call to Jordan: An Invitation for Messiah’s Bride:

The enemy is Satan, his fallen angels, and the marks of trans-humanism. We pray for the remnant of YHWH’s people to cry out to Him in their distress. YHWH is the Victor—at the appointed time.
