My Counselor, My Friend: Hope for the End Days

(1 customer review)

Living in the days before Yahushua returns is challenging for everyone.  The Bible teaches that the world as we know it will get worse before it gets better.  Everyone will be tried and tested as we wait for Salvation in the End Days.

This is a story of hope, struggle, faith, friendship, loss, and love.  In My Counselor, My Friend, Amy shares about a loss in her life.  She lost a friend, a counselor, and a dear faith sister to pancreatic cancer.  In this book, Amy invites the reader into her friendship with this woman whose love, guidance, and support helped Amy on her journey of faith.  It is the story of the difference one life can make in another.

As a Bible teacher, Amy addresses some important questions commonly misunderstood among people of faith.  What does the Bible teach happens when a person dies?  What is eternal life?  When is the Resurrection?  The answers to these questions give us information about how we are to live the remaining days in this present age.

My Counselor, My Friend gives hope, comfort, and understanding to adversities that are common to everyone in the End Days.  Amy’s warm and encouraging style gives the reader the Biblical perspective to endure until the Return of Yahushua.

I discovered this reading due to a social media post. No matter what you think of social media, it can be helpful in many cases. Reading about the special friendship between the author and her dear friend, I was reminded of the special bond between David & Jonathan in the Bible. This book tells the story of how God wove two lives together when they needed each other most and explains why as Believers we should have no fear of death. We should all be blessed with such a special bond!
