I really enjoyed Gracey’s story! She writes very well, and I can tell that she is someone who pays attention to what’s going on around her and has a good memory. Her book is full of interesting details that make the reader feel like she is right there with her. Also, Gracey’s love for her family and for God come through clearly, and that is a most beautiful thing!

I really enjoyed hearing Gracey’s perspective on the Call to Jordan.
She remembers so many details that take the reader on her journey.
I could feel how hard it was to walk away from the life they built, their homestead and comfortable community of friends and family.
To go out in uncharted territory and to follow the call is a brave moment in life that Gracey and her family will never forget, nor will her readers.
Her story will inspire others, young and old to be obedient to the Father’s voice and like Abraham be willing to leave it all behind and cross over like the Hebrews who went before us.

Do you hear God’s call in your life? Gracey does a wonderful job of sharing her family’s response to the call to move to a desert country on the other side of the world. While describing the literal steps needed to move to a foreign country, she exposes the changes of the heart that must take place to act in such faith. This story is told from a young girls perspective but with the spiritual depth of someone much older. This is a must read for anyone wondering how to answer God’s call in their life.

I really enjoyed reading all about the Ryan Family’s move from the US to Jordan. Through her words, we see that this was not an easy decision, but they completely trusted in YHWH to show them the way. She includes prayers, lots of Scriptures, and even songs that encouraged them during their transition. I recommend this book for anyone but especially people ages 10-16.

Gracey’s book is a wonderful story of struggle, endurance, and hope. It gave me the feeling as though I was there, walking it out with her. Her attention to detail was so exact, her words created beautiful pictures of the people and environment around her.

What a blessing it was to read this book! Gracey is a phenomenal young writer who obviously has the ability to connect with readers through her sincere and descriptive writing….painting such vivid pictures of her family’s move to Aqaba, Jordan. The scriptural connections Gracey highlights are fascinating…….especially the references to Jordan in the Song of Songs. Excellent read!

I just finished Gracey’s story. You are all so good writers, it is amazing. Very nice to read from Gracey’s view on your move. Gives me all kinds of feelings, thinking about our own move to Portugal, thinking about maybe a future move to Jordan. The loneliness, which sometimes comes up, here in Portugal already, but there in Jordan even more. And still, I can see through everything the Father is guiding and comforting, holding you on His way, giving you what you need. Thank you, Gracey, for sharing your faith and trust. I hope and pray the Father will sent you more families! The most beautiful is the personal connection Gracey has with Abba.
