It is good to take time to dwell on the Good News of salvation in Yahushua!  The Good News is being announced by angels in Heaven, and we, His followers, are to join the angels in their proclamation.  Even if we have been walking in the truth of the Good News for many years, it helps to be reminded of the blessedness of our salvation.  And likely, our Savior has something more to reveal to us about His everlasting Good News in the End Days!

The Apostle John in the Book of Revelation chapter 14:6-11 recorded three angels.  Each was seen coming forth from the heavens with a distinct message for those dwelling on the Earth in the End Days.  The first held the message of the “everlasting Good News.”  The second proclaimed the Fall of Babylon, and the third warned of the Mark of the Beast.  The messages are interconnected, designed to give humanity one final call to repent and be made right with Elohim before Yahushua’s return to judge the Earth.

The Good News is for those dwelling on the Earth, “even every nation and tribe and tongue and people.” (Revelation 14:6)  The focus of this article is the Good News that is announced at the Fall of Babylon and the release of the Mark of the Beast.

The Message of the First Angel

Here is the angel’s message:

Revelation 14:7 [An angel flying in mid-heaven] saying with a loud voice, “Fear Elohim and give esteem to Him because the hour of His judgment has come.  And worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea, and fountains of water.”

The first angel proclaimed the hour of Elohim’s judgment has come!  This is Good News!

As our family has lived in the Middle East, we have talked with people native to the area about the End Days.  Our conversations have revealed an awareness of impending judgment.  Many people, even though they may be reading a different ‘holy book,’ fear Elohim, the Creator, and expect Him to judge the Earth.   This is a point of agreement between us and people in the Middle East who understand that Elohim will bring everything under His righteous judgment.  For many, living in a region with various wars, Judgment Day is a source of comfort and hope.  People on both sides of any conflict want Elohim to look upon their distress and right the wrongs.

Points of agreement make a good starting place to talk about faith in Yahushua.  When sharing, it helps to establish some common ground.  However, the message of the Good News diverges from what is commonly taught in religion, be it Christian, Jewish, or Muslim traditions.

We respect all people, including those who associate themselves with the above religious traditions.  However, none of these religions are complete in their understanding of the Good News.

Religious Traditions

Religion can be defined as traditions that attempt to express devotion to Elohim.  Views of Elohim differ from religion to religion, and practices to please Him differ as well.  Religion attempts to do the right thing with a consciousness toward Elohim.  All religion requires faith.  A simple definition of faith is in Hebrews 11:1.  Faith believes what is hoped for and trusts in the unseen.

In contrast to religion (as defined above), the Scriptures teach people to pursue truth.  In all of the above-mentioned religions, it is easy to find man-made traditions that contradict truth.  In Christianity, we see practices like Christmas and Easter, well-known for their pagan origin and contradicting the Bible itself.  In Judaism, we see customs like Rosh Hashanna, a supposed New Year’s celebration contradicting the Torah as to the beginning of the year.  Further, the main miracle celebrated during Hanukkah has no historical evidence validating that it happened; it is not recorded in the extra-biblical Book of Maccabees.   In Islam, we see Ramadan, a so-called month of fasting that is more accurately a month-long feast with increased caloric intake and extreme sleep deprivation.  These examples just scratch the surface and should cause someone practicing these traditions to stop and think.  Do these traditions align with the truth?  Someone who fears Elohim will evaluate all traditions (and doctrine) to find the truth.

The Good News of Yahushua

Many traditions are passed down, including traditions about the Good News, the Gospel of Yahushua.  For clarity’s sake, and the sake of those who want to know more about the Good News of Yahushua, I have outlined the Good News in 8 points below.

  1. Elohim (God) loves mankind and created us to have a relationship with Him.

  • 1 John 4:16b Elohim is love, and he who stays in love stays in Elohim, and Elohim in him.
  • Deuteronomy 6:5 “And you shall love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.”

  1. He created us to have eternal life (live forever).
    • John 17:3“And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Yahushua Messiah whom You have sent.”

  1. All people sin. Sin brings death and separates us from Elohim.
  • Romans 3:23For all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim.
  • Romans 6:23aFor the wages of sin is death.

Elohim is in Heaven.  Man is on Earth.  There is a separation between Elohim and man.

  1. Sin is breaking Elohim’s commands (laws).
  • 1 John 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

Man’s attempts to reach Elohim fall short because of sin.

  1. Elohim sent His Son Yahushua to die for our sins.

  • John 3:16 “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life.”

Elohim sent His Son in the form of a man to the Earth to break through the separation.

  • Romans 5:8 Elohim proves His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Messiah died for us.
  • 1 John 2:2And He [Yahushua] Himself is an atoning offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world.
  • Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע [Yahushua] our Master.

  1. Yahushua rose from the dead. By His resurrection, He defeated sin and death.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you at the first that which I also received: that Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures
  • 1 Corinthians 15:20-22Now Messiah has been raised from the dead and has become the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep.  For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man.  For as all die in Aḏam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah.

  1. If we come to Elohim through belief (faith) in Yahushua, we can begin a relationship with Elohim and receive forgiveness for our sins.

  • Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushua and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved.
  • John 14:6יהושע [Yahushua] said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
  • Ephesians 1:7In whom [Yahushua] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses [sins/lawlessness], according to the riches of His favour.

When we have a relationship with Elohim through Yahushua, we pray, and He answers.  We seek forgiveness, and He forgives.  We serve Him, and He is pleased.

  1. When we have a relationship with Elohim, we study the Scriptures to learn His commands. We show our love for Elohim by keeping His commands. This demonstrates the actual faith we have.
  • John 14:15[Yahushua said] “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.”
  • Matthew 22:37-38 And Yahushua said to him, “ ‘You shall love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’ “This is the first and great command.”
  • Matthew 22:39-40“And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’  “On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.”

Salvation for the forgiveness of sins starts with belief in Yahushua—a prayer and a confession of faith—but, this is just the beginning.  The Good News is made complete when a person embraces the covenant of Elohim by guarding His commands.  The commands of Elohim differ greatly from the traditions of religion.  The majority of Elohim’s commands are in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, but many commands are found in the Messianic Scriptures.  Some of the commands come right from Yahushua’s teaching and some from the prophets and early apostles.  YHWH’s commands are given to prosper us.  True believers in Yahushua will seek to understand and obey commands from the totality of the Scriptures.

The Endurance of YHWH’s People

The Good News as outlined above is different from traditional Gospel presentations in that most neglect to share that obedience is a necessary mark of a believer in Yahushua.  In Revelation 14, we see clear evidence that the message of obedience to Yahushua’s commands is an essential part of the Good News being proclaimed by the angel.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of יהושע [Yahushua].

Within the context of the Fall of Babylon and the release of the Mark of the Beast, we are told that the people who endure are the ones who are keeping the commands of Elohim and have a testimony of Yahushua as their personal Savior.  All others will in some way be defeated by the Beast.  Accepting this Good News is the foundation of salvation in the End Days, and it is the foundation of the Call to Jordan.

The Book of Revelation has a specific command that will save people in the End Days.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her [Babel/Babylon], my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

The command to “Come out of Babylon” is specific for End Days’ believers in Yahushua.  It is a command to come out of a particular nation before its sudden destruction.  Since the fall of this nation will affect every other nation, the command to come out of Babylon is for all believers in every nation.  (Revelation 18)  For more on this subject, please read our teaching The Fall of Babylon.

Yahushua Leads His Sheep

Keeping in mind the context of the angels’ announcements—the Fall of Babylon and the release of the Mark of the Beast—we see that Yahushua has a plan to save His people.  Yahushua will lead His people to a safe gathering place.  They will come from “every nation, tribe, people, and tongue” (Revelation 7:9) to follow the Lamb “wherever He leads them.”

Revelation 14:4 They are those who were not defiled with women, for they are maidens.  They are those following the Lamb wherever He leads them on. They were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to Elohim and to the Lamb.

Did you catch this vital information about Yahushua, the Good Shepherd?

Yahushua’s End Days plan of redemption hinges on gathering His people who are scattered around the world.  Yahushua will lead His sheep to a specific place of redemption.  The Book of Revelation does not fully disclose the gathering place, but it does offer several clues. (See Revelation 12)  In his account of the Good News, the Apostle John documented Yahushua’s teaching about a sheepfold, a gathering place for His sheep. (John 10)  This chapter can be read with prophetic implications for the End Days.  Yahushua said:

John 10:16 “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold – I have to bring them as well, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.”

Revelation 14:4 together with John 10 reveals the hidden mystery of End Days salvation:  Yahushua will lead His people to His chosen place of protection, His Sheepfold.  In Scripture, the prophets were YHWH’s “voice” to the people.  The prophets revealed important information about the gathering place of protection in the End Days.  Their message is relevant today.  YHWH’s people will study the prophets, understand their message, and hear “His voice” calling them to the place of protection.  His people will follow Yahushua, the Good Shepherd, and be saved.

John 10:27-29 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them everlasting life, and they shall by no means ever perish, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. And no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

At the Fall of Babylon and the release of the Mark of the Beast, Yahushua will lead people to His chosen gathering place.  From there, the journey will continue.  He will come for His gathered flock and lead them out of the Sheepfold.  (Micah 2:12).  Having already passed many faith tests to arrive at the Sheepfold, the remaining obedient flock will continue “following the Lamb wherever He leads.”  All steps on this journey will require trust in Yahushua and His Word; they will all require faith.  The group of people following Yahushua, wherever He leads, will become the redeemed 144,000.

Following the Lamb Will Provide Protection

People who follow the Lamb to and from the Sheepfold will experience protection during three End Days events.

  1. Protection from the judgment of YHWH on Babylon

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her [Babel/Babylon], my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

If people obey the command to come out of Babylon before its destruction, they will be spared of YHWH’s wrath on Babylon.

  1. Protection from the wrath of YHWH poured out on those who received the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 14:9-10  And a third messenger followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark upon his forehead or upon his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he shall be tortured with fire and sulphur before the set-apart messengers and before the Lamb.

Revelation 14:11 “And the smoke of their torture goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, those worshipping the beast and his image, also if anyone receives the mark of his name.”

  1. Protection from Death

Satan’s goal during the Tribulation is to kill all of humanity.  This is not to say that he does not want followers.  If people willingly give up their humanity, he will allow these “people” to remain so they can worship him.  His plan is already in action with mRNA technology and mind-altering implants.  Aspects of the Beast’s Mark can already be seen.

Blessed Are the Dead in Messiah

Revelation 14:12 Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of יהושע.

Revelation 14:13  And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “in order that they rest from their labours, and their works follow with them.”

Some, who have a testimony of Yahushua and keep his commands, will fall short in following Yahushua to the place of protection in the End Days.  These people will need to resist the Mark of the Beast wherever they live.  Resisting the Mark of the Beast is a matter of eternal salvation.  This Mark requires submission to Satan.  Submission to Satan and salvation in Yahushua cannot coexist.  If Satan can take a person down, he will.  He will specifically go after the people who have belief in Yahushua and keep His commands.  Many are prophesied to stumble. (Daniel 11:33-35, Revelation 13:7)

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon [Satan] was enraged with the woman [Scriptural Israel], and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of יהושע [Yahushua] Messiah.

Some will remain in the nations, and they will resist the Mark of the Beast.  Their resistance will result in death.  Their death will be credited as righteousness.  YHWH’s Word promises that they will be included in the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:4-5 And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to יהושע [Yahushua] and because of the Word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years (and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of Messiah and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Blessed Are Those Who Follow Yahushua

Blessed are those who resist the Mark of the Beast and are resurrected to reign with Messiah.  Even more blessed are those who endure by following the Lamb to the safe place.  These will be blessed to greet Yahushua when He comes for His gathered flock.  The Book of 2 Esdras also testifies to the blessedness of remaining alive in the End Days, a blessedness that surpasses martyrdom.

2 Esdras 13:24 Therefore, know that they which are left behind are more blessed than those who are dead.

The message of this website is about End Days Salvation for those who follow and obey Yahushua’s instructions for salvation.  We are living in extraordinary times, requiring extraordinary faith.  We need to let go of religious traditions and walk in faith that is rooted in the truth of the Scriptures.  An amazing journey awaits YHWH’s people!

The message of the angels in Revelation 14 is for me and you.  The everlasting Good News starts with faith in Yahushua and is confirmed by obedience to His commands.  It will reach a climax for those who follow the Lamb wherever He leads—to His Sheepfold and beyond.   With every passing day, we are nearer to the fulfillment of the Fall of Babylon and the release of the Mark of the Beast.

If this message resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.  We are in Jordan to help others on this journey.  If you have questions or need encouragement or practical help, we are here for you.

May Yahushua guide His people to His place of protection in this hour!
